# ARC Raiders

## 1. System prep

Make sure you've completed the [Getting Started checklist](/getting-started/before-installing) first.

## 2. Overlay setup

You need an overlay for the menu to render in-game.

    1. Download the [NVIDIA app](https://www.nvidia.com/en-eu/software/nvidia-app/).
    2. Open **Settings → General** and turn on **IN-GAME OVERLAY**.

    1. Download [SteelSeries GG](https://steelseries.com/gg/download/).
    2. **Settings → GENERAL → General** → turn on **Sonar**.
    3. **SONAR → Shortcuts** → bind **F7** to **Master — Volume Up**.
    4. Press **F7** once before you inject.

## 3. Launch

<Steps>
  <Step title="Turn off antivirus">
    Confirm Windows Defender and any other antivirus are still disabled.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Launch the loader">
    Right-click the loader and **Run as administrator**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter your license">
    Paste your product license key.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Press inject">
    Click **Inject**. The loader closes itself when it succeeds.

  <Step title="Start the game">
    Launch ARC Raiders. Press **Insert** in-game to open the menu.
